ReplyDeleteKung walang ibang nakuhang sakit dahil early detection (for example tb, pneumonia, meningitis,oral candiasis etc) maliban sa HIV ay wala namang gastos, may mga ilang test lang na kailangan pagdaanan na kailangan bayaran pero di naman kamahalan. Naaavail pa ng free ang Antiretroviral pero hindi naman lahat ng positibo sa HIV ay kailangan ng sumailalim sa ARV therapy, kung maganda pa ang kondisyon ng immune system (ang cd4 cell count ay hindi pa bumababa sa 350 ay hindi pa magsisimulang magtake ng ARV.)Ilang taon ang tinatagal? hindi ko alam, at wala naman sigurong nakakaalam kung kailan tayo babawian ng buhay, positibo man o hindi, may ilan akong kakilala na mahigit 20 years nang nabubuhay na taglay ang HIV, at nga pala yung ex partner ko, 17 years na siyang nabubuhay na may HIV hehe. Meron din naman na kakadiagnosed lang, tegi agad kasi late diagnosis na (nagkaroon na ng mga opportunistic infections) at yung iba binalewala lang ang sakit. Depende rin sa tao (choice din talaga), Depende kung paano mo aalagaan ang sarili mo at siyempre si Lord pa rin ang magdedecide kung dun ka na sa kabilang buhay hehe.

ReplyDeleteI was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
